Hi XXXXXX

There are quite a few things that can cause overheating. And I guess I need to ask which came first, the overheating or the sludge? I ask only because if the overheating lead to the sludge, then you must correct something mechanically to prevent it from returning. In many cases the electric fan or fans are not working or not working up to par. Also running coolant that is diluted too far with water can cause overheating. Or even some times, depending on what vintage connect you have, sometimes the intercooler temperature sensors fail and tell you that you are overheating and may be you are not. And most overlooked is the thermostat and radiator cap.

I am not sure what you mean totally, by saying that a flush did not work. I feel that most quick flush products are not very effective in general. As long as oil can be circulated through the motor via the oil pump, then I am quite sure that we can dissolve the sludge over time with Auto-Rx.
The normal application for your diesel, likely a turbo diesel would be to add the entire contents of a bottle of Auto-Rx to a fresh oil fill, with a new filter in place. Then operate the vehicle as you normally would for 2500 miles or 3200KM. I suggest changing out the oil filter at the half way point or 1250 miles or 1600 KM. Once achieving the 2500 miles or 3200 KM, change out the oil and filter and run a 3000 mile or 3600 KM oil change interval with no Auto-Rx, this is the rinse phase. It is advisable to change the filter half way through accumulating the mileage.

Now repeat the process again. We highly recommend that you run Auto-Rx with a conventional oil and not a full synthetic. It is much more effective. Shell Rotella T or T6 works well.

I hope this answers your questions. If not please reply.

Best Regards,
Rich
