WORTH REPEATING

The Fall Season is a great time to clean the oiling systems of you vehicles drive train. We have just about finished up with the hot and humid weather of the summer, yet old man winter is just around the corner. For those that are lucky enough to own a summer seasonal collector or high performance car its a great idea to run a cleaning application on the motor, before the car sits idle for the winter.  Winter is presents the toughest conditions for the oiling systems of the drive train.

Lubricants as well as working parts have a much greater temperature range to bridge from cold start to full operating temperature. For those that do a majority of short trip driving, this  results in running the motor in a fuel rich mode for longer intervals. As a result your motor will likely pass much more unburned fuel into the oiling system passing by the piston ring packs. This is a catalyst for sludge formation. Its a great time to clean up the ring packs with a basic application of Auto-Rx to be sure the rings are clean and performing at their optimum. This will also help with cold starts in extremely low temperatures.

If you are do for automatic transmission fluid service, it is always a great idea to run a cleaning dose of Auto-Rx before having the fluid exchanged. If you are having any shifting issues from internal deposits in the shifting valves, now is the time to address the issue. Cold weather will only compound the issues.

The annual October sale starts at midnight. The additional savings are added to the purchase on top of the normal volume discounts.
