When to start using Auto-Rx in this situation?I have a Lexus GX 470 with 75,000 miles and runs like a champ. I just changed the oil and filter one mile ago but I just followed my normal and put in Valvoline 5-30w full synthetic.I wanted to start using Auto-Rx but had the oil, filter and did not think anything about it until I decided to read the Auto-Rx instructions. .
I would like to get my 5000 miles out of my oil change.Should I wait a couple thousand miles and put the Auto-Rx in and then change the oil.Wait till the next oil change and put in dino oil, auto RX and then change at 3000 miles?Put the Auto-Rx in the synthetic and wait 5000 miles or put the Auto-Rx in the synthetic and change at 3,000 which I would rather not do. Thanks,
Hello use the full synthetic( don't wast it) except run the cleaning mileage to 5000 miles. Rinse mode got to Castrol GTX (rinse for 3000 miles) assuming you going to do second cleaning and rinsing stay with Castrol GTX until finished with Auto-Rx Application. If you want to use synthetic after Auto-Rx fine just make sure to keep engine clean by using Auto-Rx maintenance Plan,
I looked at this some more. I assume you want me to use the Castrol as it designed to flush the stuff out. Use the Castrol and then go back to the synthetic?.
Iwant you yo use castrol for first rinse mode -second cleaning and second rinse mode also. When your completeyly finished Auto-Rx Application you can go back to synthetic oil ( however use the Auto-Rx Maintenance Plan with the synthetic0)

I used Petromin Ultra 7 (20w50) on the same engine model with Auto-Rx, this is known as being the same quality as Castrol gtx 20w50..
