Auto-Rx is designed to clean the internal oil system while you drive. Auto-Rx is formulated to give you maximum engine protection, while it slowly dissolves sludge and other oiling system contaminants. For vehicles with up to 5 quart oil sump capacity it is as simple as add 1 bottle and drive. For engines with oil sump sizes 6 to 8 quarts run 1 ½ bottles.
Step 1) Add 1 full bottle of Auto-Rx to a fresh oil change, with a new oil filter installed.
Step 2) Drive your vehicle for 3000 miles.
Step 3) Drain the oil, change the filter, and refill with motor oil, only.
Note: For heavily sludged motors it will require more than 1 application. Run 1 oil change interval with just oil before starting the second application. In severely sludged motors it may be necessary to change out the oil filter, half way through the application. For high mileage vehicle we also recommend a second application.
Auto-Rx is most effective when run with a conventional oil, or group III oil, which uses mineral oil as its base. For those that are required to operate with a full synthetic motor oil, due to factory warrantee, we recommend running the Auto-Rx fortified oil for 4000 miles.
