Oil Additives

Other boards lump everything as an oil additive. Oil additives change the chemistry of the oil change the viscosity of the oil (thinning out the oil)

Other boards continuously say Auto-Rx is an additive because youn add it to the oil ( need to think about that rationale since Auto-Rx does "NOT" change the oil chemistry or the viscosity of the oil) it just uses oil as a carrier.

All air breathing engines get dirty some get sludge and oil company's have to walk a very thin  line as oil is to lubricate and will not do so if it hits dirt, contaminants etc oil will skip over these areas and find clean metal they can lubricate. Thats why you have uneven metal wear.

When blending oil all oil company's either make ther own additive packages or buy them and add to the blend. One thing oil company's can't do is use enough additive chemistry to clean and keep up lubrication quality of there oil.

Auto-Rx Is A Metal Cleaner ( not an oil additive) and can do no harm. We clean off your inner engine parts of dirt, contaminants, sludge, dirt while maintaing your oil lubrication.
