I've used Auto rx in both engines and transmissions for several years and recently put some in daughter's 2001 Volvo V70 T5 (AT) which has occasionally been slipping when changing gears. She contacted Volvo dealer who told her it shouldn't have been put in, and that these transmissions use a special expensive transmission fluid -- I think its synthetic. (JWS-3309 ?). Any one know if this should be a problem?
Auto-Rx Plus is a metal cleaner and has no interaction with any type transmission fluid, it is green chemistry and uses any transmission fluid only as a carrier. Service manager is thinking of solvent products. Please tell your daughter to finish Auto-Rx Plus Transmission Application. When transmission fluid is "flushed" that means they cleaned the top half of the transmission and refilled with new fluid. If you don't clean out your torque converter at the same time, you wasted your money and left your transmission still dirty, with same problems.
