I just bought 2 bottles of Auto Rx and put a full bottle into my engine oil and 6oz into the trans of my 2000 Toyota Tundra v8 with 144k miles. I'm really surprised there was an obvious improvement with shifting after the application.
I do have a question though. I'm 50 miles into the Auto-RX engine cleaning phase with fresh conventional oil and new filter. I plan on a driving trip for about 700 miles and figured it would be a good time for fuel injector cleaner.
Will there be a problem with adding fuel injector cleaner, Chevron Techron Concentrate Plus, to my fuel during the cleaning phase?
I've search the net and this forum for concurrent auto-rx cleaning and fuel cleaning but haven't found anything. Here's some additional information. My truck has had no major engine issues and burns no oil. I've been using full synthetic oil since purchase of the vehicle (until auto-rx treatment now using conventional). I always use 87 octane from Top Tier gasoline retailers.
I guess I read that a second treatment is needed from an older post or older instructions.
I'll stick with the one treatment, 2k cleanse phase and rinse with conventional oil.
Btw, I'm seriously impressed with the product! I'm glad I didn't listen to all the troll posts flooding the forums. This is well worth the 26 or so bucks
