What You Need To Know About Friction Reducers Before You Buy

Todays automotive engine oils and lubricants are the best that have ever been produced and offered to automotive market, with respect to environmentally responsible and from a shear lubricity standpoint.  But they are all engineered around lubricating engines and engines that are or have been properly maintained. All oil related products perform best when performing on clean frictional working parts. There is fine line between using a lubricant for the maximum useful life and when the useful life is surpassed and lubrication related deposits on the frictional parts begin to form.  And once this occurs, then new clean oil or lubricants use up some of their detergency and dispersant capabilities on old oil deposits and have less available capability of protecting the useful life of the current oil fill. This can become a snowball.

Auto-Rx will play a significant role, in preventing this snowball effect.  It is specifically designed to dissolve these deposits slowly and safely when added to a fresh oil fill. The whole idea is to get the engine or gear box back to a clean environment, where the motor oil or lubricant can perform at its highest level.  With proper fluid maintenance introduced into clean equipment the drive train should outlast the rest of the car or truck. Sure you may have issues with alternators, starter, or water pumps along the way.  But these are cheap repairs when compared to replacing engines, transmission, or rear ends.

Auto-Rx should be the only product needed, along the way, to have your transportation drive train outlast the useful life of the rest of the car or truck. There really isnt any need for products with claims of reducing friction, etc. In many cases friction reducers may be harmful. For example you would not want a clutch pack, especially in a motorcycle to lose friction and have slipping occur. Or you would not want the friction between the piston rings and cylinder walls to become so slick that the rings no longer perform the necessary squeegee like action, when the direction of travel changes.  Cylinder walls are not perfectly smooth, like most folks think. There needs to be a bit of friction between the rings and bores for optimal performance.

In conclusion, todays lubricants are better than ever, just as long as they are operating in a clean environment.  So if you have been slack on maintenance or had an unfortunate overheated motor, Auto-Rx will quickly get you back to a clean health environment for your lubricants to work at their peak.
